Similar to 'Brown Turkey'. Fruit large. Skin green. Flesh very dark red. Rare. Good quality. (002)

Base sub-cordate; 3-5 lobes; broad, but shallow sinuses. It sometimes sets main crop figs without pollination in cooler areas, but has never done so for me in the eight years I have had it. Sweet and rich. Originated in California about 1920. Vigorous and hardy. Best fresh or dried. (006)

A San Pedro type. Brebas only in June-July. Large, pale-green skin, red pulp. Excellent on coast if warm at ripening time. (011)

Light green 'white' skin, strawberry colored pulp. Rich flavor, excellent fresh-eating quality. Large breba (spring) crop. Later crop is light in hot climates, heavier in coastal climates. Prune only lightly, occasionally. (Heavy winter pruning removes breba crop.) (025)

Skin and flesh colors: Green-yellow; amber One of the best varieties for coastal California and the Pacific Northwest. Also recommended for Gulf Coast regions. Use these large figs fresh or dried. Good spring and fall crops. (022)
