The variety seems to come closest to Calimyrna when tasted at WEO, 2012. It is generally rounder in shape. Flavor was very smooth. I don't know about its drying characteristics, but it did seem to come closest, in flavor, to Ira Condit's goal of a common fig that could replace Calimyrna. (910)
