JUMBO BROWN
DESCRIPTION
This fig was collected from Bobby Reed in Mississippi. Bobby has several figs that came from a person named Mrs. Gertrude Watson (I don't have any information on her). He could not remember the names of his figs that he was growing but was very pleased with the quality of all of them. This "unknown" is a large brown fig and he said it was much better than the regular Brown Turkey. Searching Ray Givan's website you will see that Ray had collected figs from Bobby and had attempted to identify some of them. (1001)
